In 2004, Lil Boosie teamed up with Webbie and released the album, "Gangsta Musik" which is what really sparked his popularity. Three more current hot rappers who share the same prefix "lil" are Lil Wayne, Lil Jon and Lil Scrappy. Soon afterwords, Boosie and Trill released the CD "For my Thugs" which went and sold over 15,000 copies. Lil Boosie' luck turned for the best when he was given the opportunity to join the record label called Trill Entertainment aka Trill Ent which was backed by Pimp-C of UGK. Lil Boosie then released his own debut CD, "Youngest of the Camp", which spread like wildfire through every neighborhood in Baton Rouge and its surrounding communities. He teamed up with Baton Rouge rapper C-Loc and made his debut on C-Loc's 5th album, "It's a Gamble", which also featured Three Six Mafia, South Park Mexican, and the rest of the Concentration Camp. The talented Lil Boosie soon picked up freestyling and began to get serious about his musical career. When he was 14 years old, Lil Boosie moved in with his grandmother after his father was killed.
